Family Prayer Gathering to be Held in October

The Foursquare Church recently announced the National Foursquare Church Family Prayer Meeting, themed “Calling on God—Covering A Nation,” which will be held Oct. 26 at hundreds of local Foursquare churches across the nation.
With the presidential election nearing, as well as many other offices being decided in this fall's elections, God has called on the Foursquare family to seek His face, just as His Word directs in both the Old and New Testament. (See 2 Chron. 7:14; 1 Tim. 2:1-4.) In response to this pivotal time in our nation, congregations are being called on to join together in prayer for our nation to understand God's direction and to extend His Kingdom in our own country.
“I urgently invite every local church family in our movement to set aside one evening—Sunday, October 26 at 6 p.m.,” says Foursquare President Pastor Jack Hayford. “At the appointed sites, let us band together in prayer with other Foursquare congregations.”
The first Foursquare prayer meeting was assembled two years ago with over 30,000 people coming together in 300 locations. “Again, we are planning to join via satellite, to join in prayer and praise as one body nationally—linked by technology and joined by God’s Spirit,“ says Pastor Jack.
Each location will host a time of local worship, then join together at 6 p.m. local time, via satellite, for prayer with Pastor Jack.
