Convention 2006

Join us at the 2006 Foursquare Convention being held at the Hilton Washington Hotel & Towers, May 29 - June 1, 2006!

"There will be no more 'ordinary' times."

Dear Pastors and our Church Family everywhere!

Those words above were breathed into my spirit this morning. Joined to them were two verses from God's Word: "He that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches..." (Rev. 2:7, et al.); and, "Let these sayings sink down into your ears" (Luke 9:44).

I am not insisting that anyone acknowledge my above words as being to everyone everywhere, but I do know the Holy Spirit has prompted me with a joined sense of holy sobriety and high expectancy. We are in a global season of recurring events that are "unusual, critical and demanding." And they bring us to a crossroads of decision. How will the Church answer this hour? How will I?

Could I suggest that our late-spring gathering in Washington, D.C., has been choreographed at this hour and in that place as a means of helping us deepen our sense of how pivotal the people of God are in determining world affairs.

As your servant, reaching to encourage you in all your tasks... And as your companion in prayer and ministry, I want to urge you to plan on Convention '06.

"Your Kingdom Come--In Word and In Power!"

May 29 to June 1, 2006

"His Kingdom" is the only one that can touch, save, and establish those we reach out to in this hour, and the only one that can truly and transformingly alter the affairs of our world.

We are coming to Washington to pray together... coming to open the Word together... coming to deepen our sense of mission to "make disciples" who will both "do and teach all things I have commanded you" (Matt. 28:20).

Come. Please. As we partner in His kingdom!
