Ministries
The Foursquare Church serves pastors, local churches and the average person through a number of different ministries and projects.
Learning and Growth
Foursquare's Christian Education covers all levels and types of education, from kindergarten Sunday School to advanced level seminary programs for pastors. Christian Education includes ministry to children as well as adults and educational opportunities from Christian schools to training for Foursquare pastors and church members.
Generation XYZ
Whatever you want to call them, today's generation of teenagers is seeking something spiritual. The goal of the National Foursquare Youth Ministry (NFYM) is to ensure teens find what they're looking for in Foursquare churches. NFYM offers innovative ministry tools to local churches to help them reach teens without breaking the bank or trying too hard to be too cool.
Women Matter
Foursquare Women International (FWI) is all about encouraging and empowering women in their personal lives as well as their ministry roles. Women matter, and FWI wants to make sure women have all the resources and tools available to them.
Taking Christ Beyond Cultures
The most segregated hour of the week is Sunday morning, which should be a wake up call that the church needs to be intentional about overcoming racism and building a kingdom of God that includes all peoples. Urban & Multicultural Ministries seeks to embrace and empower multi-cultural congregations, reach out to unchurched and unreached people groups, and raise awareness about the complex issues of diversity.
Props to Pastors
Leading a church is no easy task. Which is why Foursquare pastors have help available to them, including confidential counseling for times of crisis, a publication to enourage and challenge pastors, and a ministry celebrating and serving pastors and their spouses who have retired.
Church 101
The local church is where it's at. All the efforts of The Foursquare Church come down to what happens at the corner church, though some focus specifically on starting new churches and encouraging healthy leadership in existing churches.
Serving Those Who Serve
Sometimes people in difficult situations need spiritual help as much as physical help, which is why chaplains step in to offer spiritual counseling to the armed forces, police and fire departments, hospitals and prisons.
Investing in the Future
The purpose of the church is to spread the word about Jesus Christ, and the Foursquare Foundation offers grants to build, encourage and support evangelistic projects and ministries, whether they're Foursquare related or not.
